Governor Phillip Park is a lovely large spacious park in historic Windsor on the banks of the Hawkesbury River. It offers covered picnic areas, toilets and electric barbecues. The park has a children’s playground so it is the perfect spot for a barbecue or a picnic with family and friends. There is plenty of open space for families to enjoy. November is a pretty time of the year with the flowering Jacaranda trees a perfect time to take a photo.

At the end of the park there is a large public boat ramp where you can launch boats, canoes and kayaks. Take the opportunity to take advantage of the facilities and enjoy many types of water sports on the river. The boat ramp has large parking facilities for both car and trailers.

History buffs can look out for the Pioneers Settlers Monument memorial located in the park.

Disabled access is available.
